Ukraine Condemns Russian Strikes as Nuclear Terrorism

In a stark statement, Ukraine's foreign ministry has labeled recent Russian strikes on vital substations as acts of nuclear terrorism. On Thursday, the IAEA noted military activities resulting in damage to substations essential for maintaining nuclear safety and security in Ukraine. This report highlighted incidents near two nuclear plants—South Ukraine and Khmelnitskyi—both of which lost access to an external power line. Earlier, Russia's defense ministry noted that a total of 38 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over a three-hour span across two southern Russian regions and Crimea. Consequently, flights were temporarily suspended for safety reasons.
